The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that 5 additional sports would be included in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles including Cricket.
Cricket, Flag football, Lacrosse, Squash and baseball-softball were included in Los Angeles 2028. Lacrossse and Baseball-softball will be making an appearnce in Olympics after a long gap.
Cricket was last played in Paris 1900 Olympics. The Los Angeles Games are likely to feature six teams – for both men and women – playing the T20 version of the game.
