In 1960, numerous restaurants in the United States refused to serve food to black people, along with white people. So one day, he purposely went to the restaurant and ordered a meal. After earning a gold medal for his country, 18-year-old Muhammad Ali was hoping for better treatment from the public, but he is baffled by the apparent racial bias he faces. The restaurant owner denied his order and said we don’t serve black people.
